We also have a preliminary version of a SwiftX whose target is a Windows
program (.exe or .dll). It has no console at all, but may be tested
interactively using the SwiftX host (a separate process) communicating with
it via messages. As with all SwiftX targets, you have all source and
completely control what's included or not. It even has a "code stripper"
that will automatically compile a version omitting all words that aren't
called. It can make programs as small as a few hundred bytes.
The downside, and the reason I call it "preliminary", is that it doesn't at
present have the facility to handle Windows features. It's ideally suited
to do "back room" processing for a program whose user interface is written
in another language. It can also run in "real-time memory" under the
VenturCom RTOS (which was why it was developed).
If this interests you, contact our sales dept.
Cheers,
Elizabeth
