polyforth timers

Does anyone else use polyforth timers?

I make liberal use of them with as many as a dozen timers running. I
use them as watchdogs I my transaction processing tasks and
occasionally one will not fire. Looking at the values with .TIMERS
shows the time remaining going negative. I can't see how this can
ever happen, so I presume there is some type of bug.

Anyone have an idea?
