RE: Who can help me with Windows programming?

There are several tutorial-style books listed in Appendix A of the
SwiftForth Reference Manual. The classic is:
Petzold, Charles. Programming Windows 95. Redmond, WA: Microsoft Press,
1996. (I assume there are later editions)

Most large computer stores in this country have good technical book
sections; I suspect they may in Germany as well. Or a bookstore near a
university. There is also a German Amazon.com, which will surely have a
good selection.

Good luck,

Elizabeth

Far away in Germany, I a trying SwithForth and its Windows programming. I
have loved FORTH for many years, but no I am forced to go into the depth of
Windows. What I want to have is a good book about this topic. It should be
tutorial, not just a reference manual. Possibly it will be difficult to
order such a book in my local book store. So, if you can give me in addition
the email address of the editor, this would be very helpful.
Such a book need not be Forth-oriented. It might be also C++ oriented in
its examples. But it should be more than the API help file. It should be
educational. Does anybody know this kind of book?
