I will send you an example for vertical scroll bars that I coded directly
out of Petzold. I would recommed getting a copy. It will get you started
on most basic API calls.

I am wanting to work with scroll bars and extract relative position in the
scroll bar. I see "GetScrollPos" in the API and trying to use it.

My application is to pan a graphic vertical and horizontal using the scroll
bars. I have established the scroll bars by
oring WS_HSCROLL and WS_VSCROLL to the window. I get a response from
WM_VSCROLL and WM_HSCROLL
in my messages. To do some work now, I need to sense position and key clicks
within the scroll bars.

I am looking for an example and not seeing any. Can anyone give me
direction?
