Pallette indexed colors must not work the same under XP :(
Microsoft has a way of changing the underlying functions between
releases in ways that "no one cares about" ...

\ redefine the color table to my liking
\ note that in the first 4 lines, each constant begins
\ with "00" -- this indicates that the value represents
\ an rgb color. constants that begin with "01" are pallette
\ index specifiers.
