Reading many files in a folder

Hi -

I have the following problem: I would like
to read all the files in a folder.
As there are many files, about a thousand, it would be useful
to not having to call them by name. The aim is to make one big
file of all of them.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks by advance,
Viviane Beullens
