It depends, at the ANS Forth level (i.e. OPEN-FILE CLOSE-FILE etc.) a
program compiled under either Win98 or Win2000 should work on the
other ... unless the file is shared or has security attributes
(Win2000) in which case the ANS Forth file function words would need
to be redefined using the Windows file APIs (i.e. CreateFile) and
additional parameters.
