The basis (very good) reference for OpenGL is the 'OpenGL Programming =
Guide'
Also know as 'The Red Book'.

There is a web version here:

Objet : [sftalk] Forth and OpenGL

I've run two of the OpenGL demo programs on Faq-o-matic.
They convinced me that what I want to do is possible.

Basically I need pointer to elementary intro to OpenGL. However, FORTH
solution to my problem may already exist. [The demos DEMONSTRATED that =
they
handle "hidden line" problem.]

My data consists of MANY planes of xy data.

I would like to view as 3D image.
NO requirement for generating surfaces.

Stacked xy plots with background lines hidden is fine.

At the minimum, I need a pointer to an OpenGL intro for the=20
'perspectively' challenged. [I will NOT say what I did to my drafting=20
instructor ( may he RIP ) ]
