Gene, we have been asked a similar question. I have two huge books in my
office on AD and I cannot make heads or tales of either. Sometimes it almost
seems like the obscurity is intentional.

If anyone has made progress on this front, I too would love to hear it.

Subject: [sftalk] Active directory

This may be somewhat off topic:

I have a forth web server running fine. A potential client however,
wants to add Windows active directory authentication.

Does anyone have even a clue as to what that would require. I've
looked at the MSDN site but it seems to be written in some
language that bears only a passing resemblance to english.

Hopefully, there is a DLL that takes the encrypted login info from the
http header and authenticates the user. But I can't seem to find it.

Gene
