RE : SwiftForth 3.0.2

I was of course referring indirectly to SwiftX. For those of you who have not used it, SwiftX IS a SwiftForth application which in turn makes the applications for the micro in question (in my case the ARM).
My post was mostly in fun, so please forgive me if I annoyed anyone ! But I really was wondering if an "expert" in C# .NET blah blah etc could be nearly as productive as a good Forth programmer. I think that if I were to sit down and start from nothing with just SwiftForth and the ARM ARM (inside joke if you are "in the know" about the ARM) I could make something useful happen in a few days. Not as beautiful and complete as SwiftX, but I could maybe have the LEDs blinking.

Potentally, it does. The product now includes not only full source for
the kernel, but also the metacompiler that produces it (previously only
available with SwiftForth Pro). So you have complete control over what
you produce.

However, if you want to cross-compile for an ARM, SwiftX would certainly
be the better tool.

Cheers,
