tty.dll is SwiftForth-specific, so it sounds like you have the wrong
one. If there's a MS version, it won't do what SwiftForth needs. Try
re-installing SwiftForth to get the right tty.dll.

We use WinXP-Pro, and keep up with the updates, so that isn't likely to
be the problem.
