capturing audio

From: Dr. Roger Dube <rogerdube_at_dathq.com>

Some time ago there were some threads on capturing audio using WINMM.DLL…
but the links to sample code are no longer valid.

Can anyone point me to either sample code or some documentation that might
get me started on recording thru the windows soundcard? I can play MP3’s,
wav files, and even various formats of movies, but sound capture seems a bit
more elusive.

Thanks!
