Embassy Trust Suite compatibilty issues

We received a prompt (and helpful sounding) response from Wave Systems when
we submitted your problem report to them (see below). Their engineers feel
that the problem is with Document Manager, one of the components of ETS. A
Google search on this topic reveals that many appications (not just
SwiftForth) suffer from such compatibility issues. We don't (and likely
will not) have ETS on any computer here at FORTH, Inc., so we can't vouch
for the efficacy of the proposed solution. If anyone is able to try it,
please reply to the list so we can all avoid the pain and suffering that
Mike went through!

===============================================================

To uninstall Document Manager, run the installer and select the Wave or ETS
component.

When asked, select Custom. (Note: if you are running the Dell installer,
the first "Custom" option is for TPM drivers and other such things.
Continue through this.)

When the Wave portion of the installer executes you will get a page with
'Repair All,' Remove All,' 'Remove Limited,' and 'Custom.' Choose 'Custom.'

In the selection window of the custom screen, make sure that only Document
Manager has the check box checked, then select the Document Manager line. At
the bottom make sure the "remove" radio button is selected. Then click
next. These steps should remove Document Manager. If you're unsure or want
assistance, you can call 1 800 WAVENET and they'll talk you through it.

If you do not have an install file, you can download the latest version from
Dell: http://www.wave.com/csc/customerservice/Documents/PBA-002.htm Please
note that the latest version is available under "Security," not "Chipset."
