RE : SwiftForth console menu bar

Hide:
HWND 0 SetMenu

Show:
HWND MAIN-MENU LoadMenuIndirect SetMenu

In both cases, SetMenu returns 1 on success.

For more info on how I figured this out:

LOCATE MAIN-MENU (and see GUI-FRAME just below that !
)
API LoadMenuIndirect
API SetMenu
