I have installed a version of Linux (Ubuntu) on a machine, and then
installed Wine, which allows the installation of Windows based applications
so that they run on the machine in a Windows equivalent environment.
I have installed Swiftforth (2.2.2.9) on that machine, and it works, with
one problem - the session window is black, as is the text, and the color
palette is filled with black squares. I can see operations working (2 3 *
and I see 6 on the bottom of the session window) but cannot see any typing.
Has anyone tried this and attacked this problem? Is there a specific Windows
DLL that the color picker uses and that Forth uses for its session window? I
can always put DLLs wherever they need to be, since Wine creates the Windows
equivalent folders...
Thanks!
