Windows does alot to separate the software from the hardware in layers. M=
y gut feeling on this is that you would rather play back a .wav file than f=
iddle with the sound hardware, or send some tone data to a primitive. That=
 would be more of the Windows way.=0A=0A>> Has anyone been able to generate=
 a tone within Swiftforth? I tried beep, but the PC speaker just gives a =
=B3thunk=B2 that doesn=B9t change frequency with input parameters (I expect=
ed it to respond to =B3frequency duration BEEP=B2 but it doesn=B9t change t=
