Eluzabeth,
What about -my- challenge, that of writing a compiler from a
moderately complex Pascal-like trading systems language?
Would that be a good enough opportunity to test your assertion?
I already have the compiler written in Haskell, OCaml and Lisp. I also
have no Forth baggage to bring to the table, just that of languages I
mentioned.
Last but not least, I have extensive experience in trying
implementations in varios languages to find the ideal one for the task.
