Couldn't find BEEP... wasn't in handbook.pdf. Since I happen to have
SwiftForth I was able to grep and found:
File ...\SwiftForth\Src\Ide\Win32\Dllfunctions.f:
24 Function: Beep ( freq duration -- res )
Want to add audible notification to your compile-time? Try 1000 1000 BEEP .
Wouldn't it be nice if SwiftX-only users would get at least a display of the
file like for non-DLL words-- something like: Line 24 in file:
...\SwiftForth\Src\Ide\Win32\Dllfunctions.f? The stack effect comment for
such would be even better, but not absolutely necessary w/ the Windows API
documentation and knowing that Ide\Win32\Dllfunctions.f is for.
