It shouldn't be necessary to know much about Windows to write SwiftX code,
since it's mainly concerned with running in the target (which has no OS).
Is it SwiftForth you're asking about? If you're doing SwiftForth
programming for Windows, the good place to ask would be the SwiftForth email
group, similar to this one but full of Windows programmers at every level.

If it's really SwiftX you're concerned about, perhaps you can tell us more
about what you're trying to do.
Cheers,
Elizabeth

Subject: [swiftx] Needed: opinions on a good, simple Windows Programming
book
Anyone know of a good, simple programming book for Windows? There are so
many available it's hard to choose. I'm a Forth programmer and have
purchased SwiftX and want to use it. If I can't get up to speed quickly, my
client will force me to use VB or C# and integrate into their .NET
framework.
Any help will be appreciated,
Noel
