Problem solved,
I was using the A mask which is no problem. But since I'm such a complete newbie to forth I was unfamiliar with the word(16bit) size fetches and stores. Using w! and w@ with the registers of the 68332 made the TPU work with the code I posted before. Putting this in the Forth App Tech book might be nice.
