For a ridiculously high price, I'll build one for you. Why would you
want such a thing?

Your computer --(USB)-->A PC104 or II-SBC62 box I'll by for you
with a USB and a PP---->BDM
Leon, of course could do it in a much more straightforward fashion at
lower cost.
Would a USB->bidirectional printer port adapter work? Is there such a
thing?

No. We interface directly to the parallel port for the "bit-banged"
BDM.
