Launching SwiftX but having it appear only in the task bar (not to be
confused with the system tray :) is a known bug in SwiftForth which is the
host environment for SwiftX. It usually means you closed SwiftX minimized,
possibly as a side effect of doing a restart or shutdown.
Re-open SwiftX, maximize it (right click on SwiftX in the task bar), then
close it again. Next time you launch it, you should be able to resize it.
I believe this is fixed in the current release.
