Swiftx on a Silabs C8051F120DK target

I'm trying to establish XTL comms with a Silabs C8051F120 dev kit target
(which was obtained directly from Silabs) using the evaluation version of
Swiftx (Ver.3.4.6) - without success.

I'm using the config files (in a dedicated project directory) from the
supplied F020 source directory (modified for page boundary) and would
appreciate a sanity check from anyone who may also be using the C8051F120 as
to software initialization and board jumper settings.

The source files build and download via JTAG OK - but there is no XTL
response after execution of Debug or Connect commands (via the COM1 select
dialogue).

By way of interest, I can build and download Bob Nash's MyForth to the same
target - then communicate with it using his serial tether protocol, so I
assume the hardware is functional.

Can anyone advise me as to what I may be missing?

Cheers,

Roger de Quincey
