Off-the-shelf SwiftX development kits* support many target hardware configurations, and typically work "out of the box" with an included target board. You can begin productive work with this stable test system even if your final target hardware is not available.

System requirements: When selecting target hardware for development — except target processors with a BDM or JTAG port — remember that SwiftX uses one target serial port for its Cross-target Link or XTL (debug port); if your application will require a serial port, we recommend choosing a development board that has two serial ports. SwiftX runs under Windows XP or later.
